Synth Reverb Redefined
Tai Chi is packed with features that sound absolutely exquisite on synths including unison chorus, shimmer and multi-band decays. Tai Chi has the flexibility and dexterity you need to give compositions a rich and energetic new dimension.
Envisioned as the perfect combination of heritage vibe and contemporary class, Tai Chi is an unbelievably rich yet pristine algorithmic character reverb.
The perfect combination of the deep editing potential of the past with the ease of use of the present, Tai Chi is perfect for synth swells, vocals and electric pianos.
If the full fat Tai Chi is more than you need right now, try Tai Chi Lite. With the same great chorus, reverb and reflections engine but without the multi-band, fidelity and dynamics engines it is the ideal low-cost route to a rich and luscious reverb for your production arsenal. Upgrade at any time to the standard edition if you find you can’t resist going a little deeper!
”“Holy F**k! Tai Chi just like its name suggests, is the mastery and control over continuous flow of energy and movement. Tai Chi gives me the much needed ability to create an additional layer of movement on already beautiful reverbs in multi-channel setups all the way up to 9.1.6. I love that I’m able to craft intricate spaces and unbelievably lush tails to send my music into a multiverse of my own. Tai Chi is a modern tool made with timeless usability in mind.“

Sound Design Bliss
For reverb decay time shaping we always had to choose between the rigid but high-precision sculpture of multi-band decays or the smoothly evolving in-loop roll-off of traditional reverb time multiplier contouring filters.
With up to four bands of decay time control, spread / shape / profiling for envelope definition, two contouring filters and a low damping filter Tai Chi has by far the most flexible algorithmic reverb decays found in the industry.
Whether it’s for creative sound design or realistic space simulation – or a combination of the two – you’ll appreciate the dexterity and versatility of Tai Chi.
”“Tai Chi is filling a special void for me in the sound design reverb department. It has some really incredible room and chamber options and the money really is in the multi-band reverb time graph, chorus modes and bit crusher - lots of power in this reverb and very easy to use!“
Jason LaRoccaThe Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Bad Boys for Life, Aquaman, Fortnite
The Dynamic Duo
An essential feature of modern reverbs, ducking and compression allow you to improve the clarity and intelligibility of vocal phrases by keeping the reverb out of the way when it matters most and letting it flood in to fill the gaps when you need it.
Tai Chi lets you apply dynamics to the wet mix or just the reverb itself. This means the spatialisation provided by the reflection engine is never compromised even when extreme reverb ducking is called for.
When used in conjunction with the shape control for natural reverb attacks your music will blend effortlessly into the space with just a few quick edits.
”“Tai Chi is an amazing reverb. The dynamics and modulation sections are incredibly powerful for creating wonderful guitar textures. I can see this replacing a couple of quite complex routing setups on mixes and I know it’s definitely going to enhance my vocal chains. Brilliant!!”

Chorusing Without The Compromises
Tai Chi has stunningly rich and luscious choruses. With scores of synchronised modulated reads distributed throughout the reverb it thickens synth and guitars beautifully whilst avoid any of the characteristic dragging sharp and flat that you have heard in chorused reverbs of old, and unison chorus to rapidly build thickness on reflections without artefacts, these are the choruses your synths dream of!
You will also find the ‘wander’ type modulations wonderful for creating the thick and gritty reverbs associated with some of the most famous hall reverb algorithms of the past.
”“I’ve been looking for an elegant way to modulate reverb - for me Tai Chi hits the spot.“
Stephen LipsonNo Time to Die, Top Gun: Maverick, Mission: Impossible 7/8
Tai Chi Lite
If the standard edition of Tai Chi is more than you need right now, try Tai Chi Lite.
With the same great chorus, reverb and reflections engine but without the surround support, multi-band, fidelity and dynamics engines it is the ideal low-cost route to a rich and luscious reverb for your production arsenal. Upgrade at any time to the standard edition if you find you can’t resist going a little deeper!
”“Not content with Cinematic Rooms, Matt brought out Tai Chi which had me diving for my cheque book. It’s my favourite creative reverb out there, hugely flexible, capable of distant worlds and warm vocal blankets with equal ease.“

””Tai Chi has proven to me to be more than a reverb plug-in by way of its imaginative design and extensive, deep parameter control. Brilliant ideas and products like this don’t come around that often, and I think Tai Chi should be standard kit in any plug-in folder and/or session template. Highly recommended!”

”"Tai Chi feels like a secret weapon. It has the reverbs, spaces and ambiance you expect, but its real magic comes from ‘under the hood’. Click on the Advanced, Dynamics and Fidelity tabs and unlock control over parameters not typically adjustable. It’s amazing to have all this control in one plugin, as it saves me from adding chorus, bit crushers and dynamic EQs to find the sound I want. This would already lead me to clicking on that “BUY” button, but add in the Muti-band Reverb Time Multipliers and now I have a reverb that can only do all this in one plug-in. Just buy it!"
